Bill of Materials (BOM) and Routing structure are the building foundation of producing product repeatable in consistent high quality with accurate lead times. Using engineering approved selection tables and pre-defined routing rules to meet all the criteria customer specified with their POs.

Bill of Materials specialist (BOM)

 Responsibilities

  • New item to be built correctly from selection table(s) into material list in AXAPTA;
  • Assign quantities and rules in AXAPTA- BOM;
  • Viewing artwork in AutoCAD and assigning to item numbers
  • Generate routes (sign offs) to control the flow of material towards manufacturing lines;
  • Insert/fill all mandatory fields in AXAPTA – fields per SOP and WI specified;
  • Update and run the label program as necessary;
    Review item number database driven from x-alerts of incoming orders 

 Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • AutoCAD or equivalent experience
  • Manufacturing background or material planning structure required
  • AXAPTA experience preferred
  • Proficient in using MS-Office
